Welcome to a New 'Normal'!

If you look around this website, we hope you will see that children with Down syndrome are children first and foremost - and we, as their parents, love them with all our hearts.  Receiving a diagnosis of Down syndrome is a difficult time no matter the circumstances, but we hope that you will see that this initial grief fades as time passes, especially as you hold your beautiful baby in your arms.

We hope as you research, that you will see that Down syndrome today is very different than in years past.  With medical advances, early intervention, mainstreaming and inclusion, and the education we receive from fellow parents on sites such as these, our children have the tools they need to lead richer, more fulfilling, and healthier lives than ever before.
